I've been here for a week now!  For thanksgiving, we had Dallen H Oaks (and family) come and speak.  It was cool seeing a general authority, but I still fell asleep during the rest of the four meetings that day.  After a week here at the CCM (MTC in spanish) I have seen more miracles than in my whole life combined.  The gift of tongues is really cool: I'm learning spanish faster than I could have ever hoped.  Almost every day my companion and I have to teach "investigators" in spanish.  Our last few lessons have been very successful (as opposed to our first few, which were trainwrecks).  It turns out, Elder Hyer has a problem with spanish while he is asleep.  Almost every night now, we have been woken up by random spanish screaming at 3 AM.  Our district leader, Elder Meyers, is seriously like a miniature version of someone I know... I can't put my finger on it, but I'll try to figure it out.  I haven't found a computer that lets me upload photos yet, but I hear that they exist, so I will keep looking.  Tell Ali happy birthday for me!

Thanks,
Elder Christensen
