¡Hola Todos!
These past three weeks have been really strange, The first week went by swimmingly: We visited our many
menos activos, and I really got to know the area because my bike broke. Then my comps bike broke, so we've
been walking everywhere. My mission area is primarily La Consulta, but Consulta has a bunch of smaller
(equal) towns included in the mission area. So really, my area is La Consulta, Vista Flores, Eugenio Bustos,
and San Carlos. Without bikes, going from town to town can get interesting. Llately, we've been using
colectivos (buses). One day, we walked all the way to Eugenio Bustos to pick up our repaired bikes. It was
something close to 3 1/2 hours straight in the sun. On the way back, Elder Vegas bike broke... So, again, we
have no working bikes ahora. Woop.
Life here in Argentina has been crazy with the reinas all over the place. Last night, we couldn't sleep
because there was a HUGE fiesta right outside our pench. I swear like half of Mendoza was there. There was
fireworks, loud music, and a terrible band played until four in the morning. OK, time for church stuff.
This week, we found out that one of our investigators has a son on his mission right now, and his mission
is over in two weeks! Why she didn't tell us this, I do not know, but hey! Now we can teach her and use her
return missionary son to help with all the other investigators here! One of our recent converts just had a child
(really cute, with tons of hair) and is really interested in teaching the plan of salvation to her whole nonmember
family! Also, we have been having giant noche de hogares (family home evenings) once a week, and because
of them, we have like 20 new investigators! YAY! I think the giant reina election is this week so I'll keep you
guys updated on it. ¡Nos vemos!
